The Lover and the Beloved XII

Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him 

shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. He is thy praise, and he is 

thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which 

thine eyes have seen.

My Prince,

My life in the place where I wait for You is not easy. Constantly, the enemy of my soul buffets me. I won't leave this world unscathed. When times come that I see no reason from around me to praise You, my eyes would fondly look up, and my lips shall sweetly say,'You are my Praise'.
